THE COUNCIL AGAINST ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS HATRED

Mission Statement and Introductory Rationale

The Council Against Islamic Religious Hatred, www.cairh.org, is committed to fighting Islamic Antisemitism, and all other manifestations of religious bigotry institutional Islam continues to foment, sadly, at present.

The scourge of Islamic Antisemitism is our initial target because of its current disproportionate scope, and canonical Islamic basis (i.e., in the Koran itself, as well as the traditions, and biographies of Islam’s prophet Muhammad). Indeed, Jews have been dubbed Islam’s “first and last” enemy, references to Muhammad’s bloody subjugation of the Jews of Medina, at the creed’s advent, and Islam’s “end of times” theology which requires annihilation of the Jews to usher in the “messianic age” for Muslims.

We believe the alarming phenomenon of Muslim Antisemitism can only be addressed, forthrightly, by: quantifying its unique scale; identifying its rootedness in mainstream, authoritative Islam; and demanding institutional Islam begin true mea culpa-based elimination of Islam’s core Antisemitic theology, akin to The Catholic Church’s Vatican II/Nostre Aetate process.

Three videos (first; second) embedded below, elaborate upon these themes. The third video features Somali Muslim conscientious objector to Islam, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who provides an example of a fully candid, unequivocal denunciation of Islamic Antisemitism by someone marinated in Islam’s “sacralized” hatred of Jews.
